Friday the 13th feels... appropriate.

What if you’re too close to see what’s shifting?

Hey, PrideNomad —

Friday the 13th always makes people nervous.

Bad luck.
Shadows.
Something creeping up behind you.

But here’s what I’ve noticed:

Most of the things that quietly change our lives don’t arrive dramatically.

They shift slowly.

Silently.

Until one day you wake up and realize…
you’re reacting instead of designing.

And that’s what’s happening right now.

Not just with AI.
Not just with remote work.
Not just with travel.

With identity.

With freedom.

With the life you built.

If you’re like most of our readers, you didn’t choose the conventional path (hell, as a member of the LGBTQ+ identity, you most certainly didn’t!).

Some of you left corporate.
Some retired early.
Some rebuilt after heartbreak.
Some are still figuring it out.

But almost everyone here has asked at some point:

“Am I living intentionally…
or just maintaining momentum?”

When the world shifts — economically, culturally, technologically —
the danger isn’t collapse.

It’s drift.

And drift is subtle.

You don’t feel it at first.

You just slowly adjust.
Compromise.
Postpone.
Delay.

Until one day you look around and think:

“Wait… when did this become my life?”

So I wrote something.

Not a pitch.
Not a funnel.
Just a short manifesto about what happens when the ground shifts beneath you —
and how to step back far enough to see clearly again.

It’s called:

It’s a manifesto about decision-making under pressure.
About clarity.
About designing instead of reacting.

No opt-in.
No tricks.
Just perspective.

Because if you’re going to build your best queer life —
it should be built on intention.

Not fear.
Not panic.
Not drift.

And certainly not Friday the 13th superstition.

With pride and perspective,
