UP FRONT:

Why ‘You’re Crazy’ Might Mean You’re Onto Something Big”

Something wild happened yesterday that I NEED to share with you...

I bought this incredible domain name. We're talking potential six or seven figures when it's built out. A total steal.

Excited, I told my mom (usually my biggest cheerleader) and shared the news.

Her response? "You're crazy. Why would you do that?"

Ouch. Talk about taking the wind out of my sails.

But you know what? This isn't the first time I've heard "that's crazy" or "it'll never work."

One year ago, when we launched the PrideNomad Letter, the naysayers came out in force:

"The market's too small."
"No one needs this."
"It'll never work."

Well...

checks notes

Here we are. ONE YEAR LATER (yes, this is our anniversary issue—yay us!).

Thousands of readers strong, and more joining us Every. Single. Day.

And now?

We're about to drop the book the naysayers said would "never sell."

(Because apparently the world doesn't need a nomad guide that knows the difference between good wifi and good drag shows... 🙄)

We’ve built a thriving, growing global community.

And we're about to launch two world-record setting campaigns that will be absolute game-changers for our LGBTQ+ nomad family.

(13.5 million potential readers globally = "too small" of a market? Please... 🙄)

As Steve Jobs perfectly put it:

"Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo... Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do."

Sound familiar? It should.

Because as LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs and nomads, we've ALWAYS been the ones who see things others don't.

And that's our superpower, not our weakness.

Think about it...

Steve Jobs saw a world where computers would be beautiful and simple to use. People laughed.

Henry Ford imagined cars for everyone when horses were still the main ride. People thought he was nuts.

And let's get real - how many of us were told that living and working from anywhere was "just a dream"?

(Yeah, how's that working out for the doubters now? 😎)

Here's the truth: Your crazy ideas aren't crazy.

They're just too big for some people to understand.

And that's perfectly okay.

Now look... let's keep it real.

Not every idea is a winner. Some ideas truly SUCK.

(Trust me, I've had my share of those too.)

That's why you need to find your tribe of "yes, and..." people.

You know, those beautiful souls who might not totally get your vision...

But instead of shutting you down, they say things like:

"Interesting... and what if you tried it THIS way?"

"Have you thought about approaching it from THIS angle?"

Or even: "I'm not sure it'll work exactly like that... but here's how we could make it stronger."

THESE are the people you want in your corner.

Because sometimes your "crazy" idea just needs a different spin to become brilliant.

It's like improv - nobody stops the show by saying "no." They build on what's there.

One year ago, the PrideNomad Letter was just a "crazy idea."

Today? It's a movement.

Tomorrow? Well... just wait until you see what we've got planned.

So here's my challenge to you:

Take that wild idea you've been sitting on.

That "crazy" dream you've been afraid to pursue.

Share it with people who'll help it grow... not shut it down.

And instead of asking "What if it fails?"

Ask yourself:

"What if it works? What if I'm right? What if this changes everything?"

Because honey, you're not crazy.

You're a visionary.

And the world needs your vision now more than ever.

So go ahead. Take that leap.

Make that move.

Build that dream.

Remember: Every great change in history started with someone who refused to listen to the naysayers - but had the wisdom to collaborate with the dreamers.

Look at where we are now. Look at where YOU could be a year from now.

Be that someone. 🌈✨

Speaking of "crazy" ideas...

Here's our latest one:

What if we created something that's never existed before…

…a mastermind exclusively for LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs who want to launch, grow, and scale their location-independent businesses?

A space where dreamers become doers.

Where "impossible" turns into "done."

Where your unique perspective isn't just accepted... it's celebrated.

Is that another wild idea?

Maybe.

But then again... so was the PrideNomad Letter. 😉

And look how THAT "crazy" idea turned out.

Ready to help us build the next one?

THE BOOK IS COMING:

Being queer and living that digital nomad life?

It’s not exactly what Tim Ferriss wrote about.

Because while everyone else follows some straight dude's blueprint from 2007...

You need to know which cities actually have a scene.

Where to get prescriptions drama-free.

And yes, even which dating apps work where.

That's why we’re writing "The Pride Nomad's Guide."

Everything those OTHER nomad books don't cover...

Written by someone who knows good wifi and great drag shows are EQUALLY important.

New Zealand Just Dropped the Best News of 2025.

Well damn... looks like 2025 is already trying to steal the show.

Because as of January 27, we've got ourselves a brand new playground:

A 90-day digital nomad visa in one of the most progressive countries on Earth.

This isn't just another "digital nomad destination" to add to your list.

This is New Zealand we're talking about.

The same New Zealand that:
• Legalized our marriages way back in 2013
• Has comprehensive anti-discrimination protections
• Actually celebrates us instead of just "tolerating" us

Auckland's K Road comes alive with queer culture and nightlife.

Wellington wraps you in its artsy, inclusive vibe.

And Queenstown? It hosts Winter Pride against a backdrop that looks like it was built for your Instagram.

Between client calls, you could be:
• Exploring volcanic landscapes
• Discovering local LGBTQ+ spaces
• Building community in a country that protects our rights

Look, we all know the headlines lately.

We've seen the pushback against our community in too many places.

But while some countries are moving backwards...

New Zealand just opened its arms wider and said:

"Come work here. Be yourself. You're welcome here."

The official visa details are still rolling out, so we'll share those soon.

But for now, just let this sink in:

In 2025, we've got a new safe harbor.

A place where your biggest worry might be choosing between another flat white... or another adventure.

And here's the best part:

New Zealand isn't just throwing us a bone here.

Their Immigration Minister literally said they want people to "fall in love with the place."

Their Economic Growth Minister called it a "welcoming haven for world's talent."

This isn't some half-assed tourism stunt.

It's a country actively choosing to become a destination for remote workers like us.

In 2025, while some places are closing doors...

New Zealand just rolled out the rainbow carpet.
