Up Front: The Hidden Tax of Constant Travel—And How Smart PrideNomads Protect Their Business (and Sanity)
Nomad Strategy: The $1 Test…Can you do this?

We love Mercury. It’s totally free banking! Perfect for nomads who need borderless business solutions.
UP FRONT:
Constant travel sounds glamorous on Instagram.
But behind those envy-inducing selfies in Bali and beachfront Zoom calls lies a hidden cost that's killing your business...
And maybe your soul.
Let's call it the "travel tax."
It's the productivity killer lurking beneath every new check-in, flight delay, and Airbnb mishap.
Every few weeks you reset your life—finding Wi-Fi, rebuilding routines, and hunting down your new favorite café workspace (again!).
This relentless reset drains your energy, fractures your focus, and steadily chips away at your sanity...
Like death by a thousand paper cuts.
Except the cuts are flight delays and shitty Wi-Fi connections.
The emotional toll of perpetual motion is real, especially for LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs juggling client calls, deadlines, and an ever-changing support system.
But here's the solution nobody glamorizes enough:
Slowing down.
That's right—longer stays equal stronger routines, deeper local connections, and less mental chaos.
Settling, even temporarily, boosts productivity and fuels business growth.
But here's the kicker:
Where you slow down matters.
Instead of bouncing randomly from hotspot to hotspot, smart nomads prioritize destinations that effortlessly blend business practicality with community vitality.
Picture this:
Waking up in Medellín, Colombia—where your morning starts with fresh mountain air and world-class coffee, not another frustrating hunt for decent internet.
A surprisingly affordable, LGBTQ+ friendly city with vibrant nightlife, superb infrastructure, and a thriving nomad community.
Here, your routines thrive, your local network grows into meaningful friendships (and lucrative business connections), and you can finally silence that nagging stress of always feeling unsettled.
Or take Gran Canaria (covered in PN 154)—that sun-soaked Spanish island where LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs are quietly building empires between beach sessions.
Been to either spot? Drop us a line - we'd love to hear your experience!”
Our readers who followed our advice about this hidden gem already know:
It's not just the legendary nightlife that makes it special.
It's the perfect blend of European infrastructure and island-life freedom that lets you scale a business without sacrificing your sanity.
(Been to either Medellín or Gran Canaria? Hit reply - we'd love to hear YOUR experience!)
And if those spots sound tempting...
Just wait until next month when we blow the lid off Puerto Vallarta, Mexico's best-kept LGBTQ+ paradise.

Is this your perfect office?
We've uncovered secrets about this beachfront haven that will change how you think about "settling down" while staying incredibly mobile.
(Hint: it involves way more profit and way less stress than you'd expect.)

Smart nomads aren't backpackers—they're CEOs of traveling empires.
They structure their lifestyle as strategically as they manage their business...
Scheduling intentional downtime...
Planning moves with precision...
And establishing clear, focused work cycles.
Bottom line:
Travel should be your reward, not your distraction.
Choose locations that let you build first, roam smarter, and profit more.
Your business—and mental health—will thank you.
Settle in longer, breathe deeper, and watch your nomad empire thrive.
Puerto Vallarta's up next—and trust me, you won't want to miss it.

NOMAD STRATEGY:
The $1 Test: A Simple Way to Chase Your Freedom Dreams
You know that feeling?
When you're staring out your office window...
Or doom-scrolling through Instagram...
And you see someone working from a cafe in Bali.
Or a beach in Croatia.
Or anywhere that isn't trapped between four walls.
Something inside you ACHES.
Because you know that could be you.
Should be you.
And it's not about the locations, really.
It's about the FREEDOM.
The ability to wake up and decide:
"Today I work from here."
"Tomorrow I work from there."
"Next week? Who knows."
But here's the thing about freedom...
It often feels like this massive, terrifying leap.
Like you have to have everything figured out PERFECTLY before you can even start.
And that's where most dreams die.
In the gap between "wanting" and "doing."
But what if I told you there was a smaller way to start?
A way to test your dreams without risking everything?
I call it the $1 Test.
It's stupidly simple:
If you can get ONE person to pay you ONE DOLLAR for your idea...
You've already proven more than most dreamers ever will.
Because that dollar isn't about the money.
It's about VALIDATION.
It's proof that someone believes in what you're building.
That your dream has legs.
That freedom isn't just a fantasy.
Here's what I want you to try:
Take that business idea you've been sitting on.
Find ONE person who might actually want it.
Tell them you're testing something new.
And ask if they'll pay ONE DOLLAR to be your first supporter.
That's it.
Because here's what I've learned about location independence:
It's not ONE big leap.
It's a series of small tests.
Small wins.
Small validations that tell you:
"Yes, this is possible."
"Yes, people want this."
"Yes, you can actually do this."
And sometimes...
All you need is ONE person saying yes...
To give you the confidence for that next small step.

Ready to go from idea to empire?
That next test.
That next piece of your freedom puzzle.
So what's it gonna be?
Are you gonna keep dreaming about freedom?
Or are you ready to put your dream to the $1 test?
And let's get real for a second...
If you're afraid to ask someone for that ONE DOLLAR?
Then you don't have a business.
All you have is a fantasy.
Because if you don't have the confidence and drive to risk "disapproval" for what you really want to do...
Then you really DON'T want to do it.
Just sayin'.
But here's the thing...
The fact that you're actually reading this right now?
That tells me that's NOT you.
So if you're afraid of getting a "NO"...
Get over yourself.
Because even if you DO get a "no"...
That feedback might save you from wasting time and money on a fantasy...
That would lead you in the wrong direction...
And make you even more uncomfortable later...
After wasting all sorts of time and money you can't get back.
And right now, in today's world...
Do you really have time to screw around?
Start small.
But START.
Because that's how freedom dreams become freedom realities.
One dollar at a time.
