UP FRONT:

Our Model For Independent, Remote Living

As PrideNomads, we use technology to work from anywhere and often travel frequently. We value flexibility, creativity, and independence in our work and our lifestyles.

While many of us may work in web development, graphic design, content creation, or other areas, there are a few fundamentals that you should always remember.

1. Lifestyle First.

As a PrideNomad, you’re making a courageous choice (more on courage next week) to live a life that most people only dream of. So it’s important to design your life to get the most joy and satisfaction from every day.

This includes taking care of your health (physical and mental) and your relationships so that you can fully live your best life.

2. “Work” Less. Live More.

It’s been said that while others live to work, the French work to live. We believe that if you love what you do, you’re not working. You’re thriving and living your passion.

That said, we always advocate that you focus on efficiency, automation and outsourcing so you can get the most out of the experience.

3. Be an Investor, Not a Worker.

Michael Gerber, in his legendary book, The E-Myth, famously advises that you should work ON your business, not IN your business. My buddy Dan Martell advocates that you should Buy Back Your Time: Get Unstuck, Reclaim Your Freedom, and Build Your Empire.

Damn right, Dan.

This book will give you a new perspective.

The classic business book that sets your foundation.

The bottom line is that YOU need to be in charge of your financial and career life, not the other way around.

That’s why we advocate the philosophy that you should be an investor in your business and your lifestyle.

We’ll be bringing you suggestions and recommendations on how you can take more control of your financial life.

From real estate and financial investments, to the best ways to invest in yourself—in your business—we’ll cover it all for you, so that you can create complete economic and lifestyle independence.

By the way, if you think that you’re not in your own business, think again. Even as an employee or independent contractor, you’re selling your time for money. Yes, you ARE in business for yourself!

This publication is one such strategy.

Email newsletters can be a massive foundation for a current business, and can also be a standalone business all together, generating multiple 7-figures on an exit (Morning Brew recently sold for $75 million, for example).

Next week, we’re running another Launch Your Newsletter Challenge, where participants will actually launch their own newsletter in less than 5 days (actually we’re starting this Friday with a “Day 0” Bonus Session for high achievers).

You can get in as our guest (see details below), or pay less than a buck a day to discover how you can create your own media empire as you turn the planet into your playground.

The Bottom Line.

Now more than ever, you need to have control of your lifestyle options. A firm financial foundation is the first step. In fact, we’ve coined the phrase “Financial Self-Esteem”.

We’re committed to being your cheerleader, coach and advisor to help you get the most out of your nomadic adventures.

And if you’re not traveling yet, we’ll help you get from that voyeuristic dream to your own wild & crazy reality!

Join us for the Launch Your Newsletter Challenge and discover how you can tap into the massive possibilities that were never available to you before (including the power of AI to make it all possible!). Use the links below and refer a friend to get in at zero cost!

READER SUGGESTION

A little gem you might want to discover…

We frequently focus on the big cities of the world…Bangkok, Lisbon, San Francisco, Miami, Sydney, Amsterdam.

Let’s not forget the smaller destinations…the amazing towns and communities that may be off the beaten track, but are rich with experiences that might be even more heartwarming and memorable.

Memories of Tofino, BC come to mind (highly recommended!), but today we’re going a little bit south…to Seabrook, Washington,  located 2.5 hours west of Seattle & 45 minutes south of Olympic National Park (ONP).

BTW—If you haven’t considered a visit to Olympic National Park, perhaps this will inspire you: it boasts distinctly different ecosystems that include glacier-capped mountains, old-growth temperate rain forests, waterfalls, glacier-fed rivers and lakes, and 70 miles of wild, breathtaking coastline.

While most lodging options on the south and west ends of ONP offer spartan accommodations, Seabrook was developed as a luxury “basecamp”.

Seabrook is an adorable place for a getaway!

We first heard of Seabrook through one of our amazing PrideNomad subscribers, Stephen Poulakos.

Stephen is the VP of Seabrook’s Town Planning and Design Department and with his husband Mike,  owns the adorable Cedarbrook Cottage. (Our readers in Seattle might be familiar with Cedarbrook, as it’s frequently a popular item for bid in local Human Rights Campaign fundraising auctions).

Seabrook is known for its picturesque architecture, hiking and biking trails, and most importantly, its inclusiveness and hospitality. Stephen tells us that they even have a town concierge!

The town currently boasts at least two LGBTQ+ independently owned businesses: Koko's Restaurant & Tequila Bar and Mr. Walrus Home Goods & Provisions.

So if you’re looking for something a bit different, or want to start dipping your toes into nomadic life, consider a path less traveled by…and take a road trip a few hours away!

PrideNomads stay at Cedarbrook Cottage for 10% off!

And when you book a stay with Stephen & Mike at Cedarbook Cottage, mention PrideNomad with booking code PRIDENOMCBK10 and you’ll receive a 10% subscriber discount!

NOMAD HACK

Our Favorite Backpack

Sometimes the best hack is great gear. Today we bring you one of our favorites.

This backpack from coowoz is a must-have for any digital nomad.

For less than $50, it’s a total game changer. Made from durable, water-resistant material, it will keep your gadgets and gear safe, rain or shine.

This backpack has been liberating!

What’s terrific about this pack is how it opens up suitcase-style, which means super easy packing and quick access to all your stuff. It’s got tons of pockets—including an easy-access padded laptop pocket (easily holds my 15” Macbook Pro and iPad Pro) plus a generous waterproof section as well.

It even has an anti-theft pocket— ideal for keeping your valuables secure while you’re on the move.

It's perfect for hopping from city to city or just chilling at a coffee shop. Compact yet spacious enough for all your essentials, it's designed to make life on the road a breeze. Trust me, for the roaming lifestyle, this backpack checks all the boxes.

I replaced my old backpack with this one in December and I haven’t looked back. It holds so much gear, which gives you tons of flexibility. Snag yours on Amazon today!

Quiz Answer:

“Slowmad”

The term "slowmad" is used to describe digital nomads who prefer to travel slowly, staying longer in destinations to immerse themselves in the local culture rather than moving quickly from one place to another. This approach is popular among many in the LGBTQ+ community who seek deeper connections and understanding of each locale they visit.

That’s it for this week. See you next week. Please share this with your friends and score your own PrideNomad Swag!

These prizes can be yours! Just share, baby, share!

You deserve to win big!
