UP FRONT:

How One Simple Strategy Can Unlock Your PrideNomad Goals

Last week, we asked you what you most wanted to learn, and your responses were inspiring! You’re looking for ways to create steady income, grow your brand, and explore new paths like consulting, freelancing, and digital products.

We listened—and on Thursday evening (North America time), we’re going to reveal our favorite “gateway strategy” that ties all these goals together.

So, what’s the big secret? Imagine a simple, hands-off tool that doesn’t just reach people but creates a steady stream of income, opens doors to incredible opportunities, and builds your reputation—all without the tech overwhelm. It’s so effective that one of our PrideNomad subscribers is using it to support his business… and he’s doing it almost fully hands-off!

Why This Strategy Works (Even If You’re Just Starting Out)

A well-crafted newsletter isn’t just a weekly email—it’s the ultimate gateway. Picture this: you send out valuable insights that attract people who are genuinely interested in what you have to say. Over time, this following turns into paid subscribers, clients, and even partnerships. The best part? You can automate it and keep it as hands-off as you want.

Here’s a glimpse of what we’ll reveal this week:

Build Income, Hands-Off

Newsletters aren’t just about writing. They can pull in income through multiple channels: paid subscriptions, digital products, consulting, and sponsorships. And you don’t have to be a tech wizard to set it up! Many start simple, automate the process, and watch their income grow with every send.

Exclusive Access and VIP Perks

Imagine being offered VIP treatment just for sharing your expertise! Brands and events often seek out newsletter creators with loyal followings, giving you opportunities for insider access, paid travel, and invitations to exclusive events—all because you’ve built an engaged audience. Hint: as a member of the media, I was treated to two all-expense-paid trips here in Japan over the past couple of weeks (yes, including luxury hotels and gourmet meals)!

A Reputation That Attracts Clients and Partners

A newsletter positions you as the go-to expert in your field. Clients and partners are more likely to seek you out when they see the value you consistently deliver. It’s a hands-free way to attract consulting gigs, freelancing projects, and new customers.

If you’re thinking, “Sounds great, but can I really do this?” know that some of our PrideNomad subscribers started exactly where you are—new to newsletters, no fancy tech—and now have growing income streams.

Want to find out exactly how it’s done?

Join us live this week, and we’ll break it all down for you. Plus, you’ll get first access to our Nomadic Startup Ideas Tool, designed to take your unique skills and turn them into profitable business ideas.

This one strategy could be the gateway to the life you’ve been imagining. (Yes, being a digital nomad does involve earning an income—it’s not a total holiday—but hey, there are worse things than working from a beach bar in Thailand!)

Get the scoop here. BTW—this will be LIVE, coming to you from Bangkok, one of our favorite PrideNomad locations (with what we consider to be the world’s best food!).

OH DEAR!:

We’ve been long advocating the importance of talking to other digital nomads—whether they’re a member of the LGBTQ+ family or not. Getting real world advice, feedback and suggestions on where to go, what to eat and what to do are the foundation for a fulfilling PrideNomad experience.

So when I was advised to take a day trip to Nara, Japan, I went. Let’s be clear—I had never heard of Nara.

Had no idea.

Hell, the name Nara reminds me of a famous clothing store chain.

But when I heard about the WHY of Nara, I hopped on a train and was there within an hour.

Here’s the bottom line in a few photos…

Yes, those are deer. And they’re EVERYWHERE! (and I mean EVERYWHERE!)

You can buy deer food for 200 yen (about $1.40 USD) and feed them. But don’t fool around—they’ll nip your butt or head bang you if they get annoyed with you!

Of course, Nara has some incredible temples and other cultural highlights. But today we’re just going for the deer.

As the world waits and wonders about the future of the planet (ie the results of today’s American election), we thought we’d give you something to smile about.

Oh, Deer!

If you’re American, did you vote???

NOMAD NEWS:

Get Paid to Live the PrideNomad Life in Spain’s Extremadura!

Dreaming of a fresh start in Spain? Imagine a life where Roman ruins, wild mountain ranges, and quaint Spanish towns are just a part of your day-to-day backdrop. And the best part? Extremadura—a hidden gem on the border with Portugal—is paying remote workers like us to settle down there with grants up to €15,000.

Now, I know what you’re thinking: Is there community for us out there? Will it feel like home?

The answer is a big yes. While Extremadura might not have the all-night scene of Madrid or Barcelona, it’s got an LGBTQ+ spirit that’s real and welcoming.

This is a region where you can find real connections with other PrideNomads and locals alike. Events like FanCineQueer, the regional LGBTQ+ film festival, bring the community together, and there are organizations making sure you won’t be the only queer person in the room. So no, you’re not going into exile. You’re joining a part of Spain that’s ready to celebrate you.

Yes, they’ll pay you to live here (if you qualify).

Why Extremadura Wants PrideNomads

This region’s quieter than Spain’s major cities, but it’s also cheaper—about 30% less expensive than Madrid, with low-cost dining, utilities, and rent that’ll free up some budget for exploring.

Extremadura is facing economic challenges, with a smaller population and fewer job opportunities, so the government’s set aside grants to attract 200 remote workers. They want to build up the local economy, and who better to liven things up than PrideNomads like us who are already comfortable working and thriving from anywhere?

Here’s How It Works

Extremadura’s targeting skilled remote workers, especially in tech and digital fields. Non-EU nationals are welcome as long as you’re on Spain’s digital nomad visa. And if you’re under 30, female, or open to moving to smaller towns with under 5,000 people, there’s extra grant money waiting for you.

Living in Extremadura means embracing that chill, slow-living vibe without sacrificing community. Sure, it’s not a place with gay bars on every corner, but it’s one where you’ll find acceptance, genuine connections, and space to build a life that’s entirely yours. You’ll have the freedom, the views, and yes—an LGBTQ+ community—to make Extremadura a true home.
